LARKANA: Fifty-seventh birth anniversary of former prime minister Shaheed Benazir Bhutto is being observed today.

The preparations for the ceremonies have been completed in Larkana. President Asif Ali Zardari visited the grave of Benazir Bhutto at Garhi Khuda Bux graveyard and observed Fateha.

A Police contingent will offer guard of honour to Shaheed Benazir at her last abode at Bhutto’s native graveyard today in presence of Chief Minister of Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah.

President Asif Ali Zardari will launch national blood donation campaign by giving blood donation at President House in Naudero.

The administration has stepped up security on the occasion and 3500 policemen have been deployed for security apart of Rangers men.
