Nawaz calls for resumption of copter service in Hunza

HUNZA: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Nawaz Sharif Monday announced Rs five Lac for each deceased of land sliding in Hunza.

He urged the government to provide travel facility to Hunza people with resumption of the helicopter service.

Addressing victims of Attabad Lake in Hunza, Sharif urged the government to take immediate steps to alleviate misery of the affectees of Attabad Lake.

He said the government should contact with China and take other steps for restoration of Shahrah-e-Karakoram.

PML-N leader also appealed philanthropists to come forward to extend helping hand to the victims of Hunza landsliding.

Nawaz Sharif along with Chief Minister of Punjab Shahbaz Sharif and other party leaders reached Hunza today and visited the camps of affected persons. Shahbaz Sharif announced Rs 100 million relief fund from Punjab government for the affected persons.
