PESHAWAR: At least four policemen were killed suicide attack near Pir Bala police post in Peshawar.

Four others were injured in attack in which a suicide bomber used an explosives packed car.

According to bomb disposal experts around 180 kilogramme explosive material was used in the attack.

The attacker rammed an explosives laden vehicle with police post on Wednesday morning when policemen tried to check the vehicle, police sources said.

“Four policemen were killed and six were injured in the incident,”  police said.

The injured have been shifted to Lady Reading Hospital after the attack, which thoroughly destroyed the building.

Police have cordoned off the area and launched a search operation.
