PCB to present evidence on cricketers punishment

LAHORE: Pakistan Cricket Board chairman Ejaz Butt has said that the PCB will present proofs before the standing committee of Senate for sports, which is meeting today at National Cricket Academy in Lahore.

Butt said that punishing certain players had become necessary to end the culture of indiscipline in the national team. “They have been punished on solid evidences, which will be presented before the Senate committee,” he said.

Butt said the board is not hurry to announce the new captain, which will be announced within days.
