GUJRAT: The markets and business centres have been closed in Gujrat on Monday on a calle given by PML-Q leader Chaudhry Pervez Elahi to protest against manhandling of the party workers on Sunday.

PML-Q has also announced to hold a protest rally today from Pakistan Chowk in Gujrat. Chaudhry Pervez Elahi and former education minister Mian Imran will lead the rally.

Several persons including PML-Q workers were injured yesterday when violence erupted in Muslim Bazaar during election campaign of PML-N candidate Haji Imran Zafar.
