LAHORE: People’s Party Secretary General Jahangir Badar has said the PPP pullout its candidate from recent bye-election due to an understanding with Muslim League (Nawaz).

Badar was talking to media while appearing before Accountability Court on Saturday in the hearing of the illegal assets case.

He said PPP and coalition partners in Sindh were agreed over appointment of administrators and local bodies elections, but the understanding could not be achieved in Punjab.

He said the party if felt the need it will workout to reach an understanding with coalition partners in Punjab over the local bodies elections.
